About Me

IMG-0097-2.jpg

I’m Charlotte, a Seattle-based lighting designer and 2021 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder’s Architectural Engineering program, with a concentration in lighting and electrical systems for buildings. I chose this field because it allows me to operate within the realms of both art and engineering and to know that my work will directly impact other people and improve their experiences of the spaces they occupy.

I have experience working in lighting design and lighting commissioning. More on this can be found in my resume, linked below. Please email me if you would like a PDF version of my portfolio.

During my time at CU, I was involved in a variety of clubs. I was a member of the first place winning CU Boulder Solar Decathlon Team and was an officer in both the CU Illuminating Engineering Society Student Chapter and the CU Architectural Engineering Institute Student Chapter. Through my involvement with these student groups, I co-organized a career fair, planned and raised funds for a trip to the 2019 AEI Conference in Washington, D.C., and was interviewed for a building science web-show.

I am an enthusiastic flower presser, social dancer, and avid dabbler. I love to ski, sew, and explore the outdoors. I also love to travel and lived in Germany for a year during high school. I am fluent in English and German.
